The 4507R+E has two SUP8 modules. If I reload slot 2, IP addresses are immediately handed out, if I reload the entire switch, the same occurs. Testing this morning, I managed to get an IP, and I could ping the GW (SVI IP), I could also ping the IP of the Switch, but I couldn't get any further. But even though the url says slots 4 & 5 are for sups, only 3 & 4 can support a sup module. There are 7 slots in this 4507r-e chassis, slots 3 & 4 are labeled Supervisor (highligted in blue / see attach picture) and inside slots 3 & 4 the backplane connector is too large to support anything other then a superisor (4013+10ge).
